Byron Nelson is widely considered one of the greatest golfers of all time. As a former Masters Champion Byron is best known for winning 11 consecutive tournaments and 18 total in 1945. Byron retired at the age of 34 to become a rancher. As a member of the Golf Hall of Fame, a PGA Tour Lifetime Achievement Recipient, and Bob Jones Award Recipient. The Bronze Buffalo Championship Golf Course is one of very few courses in the world designed by this legendary golfer, and the Byron nelson 9-hole, par 3, short course is the world’s only Byron Nelson designed short course!
